Project 1

Procurement of EDP equipment (H/W and system S/W) in order to cover the needs of ATM and POS networks. Our company has installed Tandem and Non-Stop systems in order to ensure the required seamless operation, high reliability, expandability and high performance.

Description of the installed Tandem equipment:

The central system of the bank has been recently upgraded to the new system of the Non-Stop Himalaya product family, S7004 server with four RISC processors.

The S-Series of Non-Stop Himalaya systems were recently announced and constitute the strategic platform of Compaq. Non-Stop Himalaya S7000 includes all advantages that featured this particular Tandem platform, such as:

• Seamless operation of the system
• Almost unlimited expandability
• High performance

Non-Stop Himalaya S7000 systems use the new innovative architecture of Tandem, which is called ServerNet, and which was designed to ensure even greater  speeds (?/? Bandwidth) by developing the ideal application for the present and future needs that require the exchange of even larger volumes of data.

The ServerNet architecture follows the Server Area Network (SAN) pattern, where there is a fast network inside the system consisting of routers that can be used for internal communication. There is, also, a second remote NonStop Himalaya S702 system, which operates with two processors as a test system and disaster server and is able to “play the role” of the system in case of any disaster.

Project 2

Dienekis upgrated the bank’s FileNet system that supports the administration of Mortgage Loans Approval Process from the very beginning (customer application) to money draw.  The system has upgraded to the latest supported versions of FileNet S/W, with simultaneous implementation of Asynchronous Data Replication in the RDBMS.
