Dienekis Information Systems S.A. successfully completed the materialization of the Management Information System for the Administration of the Athens International Airport.

In particular, Dienekis Information Systems S.A. in co-operation with the company Relational Technology undertook the installation of the necessary infrastructure for the support of the Management Information System as well as the training of the airport’s personnel, in order to ensure the unobstructed operation of this solution.

The above infrastructure includes products from Informatica (ETL Tools) and Business Objects (Visualization Tools).

The main feature of the MIS not only produces predefined reports, but also offers the opportunity to its users to produce their own reports in order to meet their constantly demanding information needs. The materialization, in general, is extremely end user-friendly and aims to offer them the ability to utilize the system without requiring knowledge on informatics or exhaustive training.

The produced reports are based on data gathered by multiple information sources within the airport. Reports produced by the MIS cover various business fields, such as Aviation Services, Financial and Business Development Division, which includes Marketing, Terminal Commercial Services, Cargo and Real Estate.
